If the job wants him, fine. If not, he'll move on and still be fine with his life. No regrets.
I agree with that sentiment.
I have told every boss I've worked for is the most they can do to me is fire me. Meaning, I will not allow a superior to treat me like sh!+. I have enough skills and experience to catch on somewhere and life will move on. Having everything out in the open, only one supervisor has tried to mistreat me. I walked right out of the door never to be heard from again. No worries though, I had already excepted a position with my current employer. Ten years later and still going strong.
