Grimes recently trimmed his list of schools down to five and officially named a leader for his services. Grimes will spend the summer traveling with his St. Louis Eagles AAU teammates.

RivalsHoops.com ranks Grimes as the 13th best player in the class of 2004 and gave him a perfect five stars. Every high major college in America is interested in the highly talented big man, but it appears that only five schools remain on his list.

“Arizona, Illinois, Iowa, Kansas and Kentucky are the top five schools that I’m really interested in,” Grimes said. “I’ve been talking with my family and my coach about my recruitment and I’m leaning towards Kansas right now."
