McKissic talked about the close relationship he has with Hollender, who recruited him to UMKC. He talked extensively about how important it is playing close to his mom and family in STL.

Cuonzo had every advantage, and struck out again to a mediocre coach over a thousand miles away.

It's either incompetence or sheer laziness & indifference. I tend to think it's the latter based on this answer CM gave in a recent interview: http://www.tigerboard.com/boards/view.php?message=17514847

Mike White has been extremely mediocre at Florida, but you would never hear him say something like that. Recruits can tell that CM has checked out.
