A few things have to be proven

1). Chauvin went out that day intending to kill Floyd
2). Floyd was killed by Chauvin's knee to the neck
3). Chauvin knew that the hold he was administering on Floyd would result in death
4). Chauvin failed to render aid to Floyd
Essentially, those will determine what charges Chauvin will be found guilty of. Right now, all we know for sure is point #4. The video evidence thus far does nothing for 1-3, but it does show people the state of mind that Floyd was in.
