His first 2 years were a legitimate rebuild situation, and he's had tournament-worthy teams in 3 of the past 4 years, and nearly reached it this year but was relegated to the NIT where he reached the Finals. This year is his floor, not his ceiling.
With that said, he's definitely out of his prime at this point. 2014 was 7 years ago. He could have really turned things around at MU if we had hired him back then.
