Pinkel was all but gone if Chase Daniel doesn't come in when Brad Smith got injured and save us against Iowa St. in 2005. In hindsight, firing him would have been a massive mistake.

On the other hand, you could argue Quin was held on to a year too long, which temporarily set us back.

What would Cuonzo do long term? I share your concerns with the coaching (lack of offensive structure at times, shot selection, usage of timeouts, etc). But I also think stability is very important and our HC position has been a revolving door since Norm.
