Your US citizenship is voluntary - you can initiate the process to cede it at any time. If you don't want to be subject to US income tax, there is a path (nobody is forcing you to remain a citizen.)
A price of US citizenship is to comply (which may be forced), with it's laws - including the filing of income tax returns/paying income tax.
From a state/local perspective - you are subject to move much more "freely".
As I said in my initial response - my property taxes are going to get effed because of where comparable sales are. Sucks to pay the tax, but it's great that my house's value has gone up (and part of that value is base on quality schools) - I don't like the backdoor tax hike based on valuation, but I have CONSENTED (by buying/holding the property within the county.)
