blame him for being po'd after that. Last season was a wash (and fortunately the Cards were only paying him a pro-rated $600k). Flaherty is a stud - at $3m or $3.9m the Cardinals are getting a bargain for '21.
He's the most valuable asset in the franchise (at that salary). It's in the Cardinals interest to keep him happy - whether it's for production on the mound or trade value.
