and in those departments, you see both liberals and conservatives. In math it is a pretty good mix still more libs but not overwhelming. In science, it is still much more lib but there seems to be a line between physical and biological sciences. I think every bioscience teacher I have ever worked with was very liberal but conservatives are pretty common in the physical sciences.

Once you get out of the math, science and tech departments you will be unlikely to find a conservative on most staffs.

I have never worked on a college campus so these observations are based on the four high schools I have taught at in the last three decades.
