"Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior"
Let me break down that last statement for you, with "words easy to understand".
Because Almighty God says it's a good thing, and He approves His message.
And if you not doing that, you are doing a bad thing by not doing the good thing God commanded you to do, and that is unacceptable.
So if Trump fails in one thing or another, maybe it's because you failed to support him with an adequate amount of prayer.
"The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much."
