Duke gets what Duke wants... against all but the most elite blue-blood programs, with very few exceptions.

If Arizona State wins a recruiting battle against Duke, it's once in a generation and only because the recruit was a "legacy" (parent alum) or local player who grew up rooting for them.

Elite players get "recruited" by lots of programs, but when Duke makes an offer... their chances drop to about zero. Duke competes with the likes of UNC and Kentucky for recruits, not low-level P5 programs like ASU, or even mid-level programs like ours.

Please explain why this message is being reported.
