And she was very sick for about a week. My mom and her 9 brothers and sisters took turns staying with her and grandpa to nurse them. Don’t remember if she saw a doctor or not.

None of them got it and neither did grandpa. Best they could tell one of the grandkids brought it home from school and gave it to her, but I don’t remember any of my cousins being sick or my parents say they were after the fact.
