assumes that 2/10 of 1% of us are going to die, and implies that is not a big deal. My point is that assuming he's right, it is a big deal.
I'm very much in favor of protecting the vulnerable, and I'm generally opposed to total shutdowns. But I think that is a hell of a lot of dead people, and the OP seems to think it's not a big deal, not something we should go crazy over, like wearing masks or anything like that.
