The first fault is the Congress and President doing all the spending...the next fault is for the Court not stepping in to stop it.
This is no surprise at all, because as has been pointed out many times before...the Courts primary objective is really to protect the power and control of the Government (Pickle has pointed this out numerous times)...given that only the President and Senate pick the Justices, that is obviously no surprise.
How much the 3 you mentioned played a specific role it that I do not know. I don't go through specific cases and specific votes in depth, nor do I care to.
But there is no question the Court has had many occasions to restrict the other branches and has failed to do so.
So to suggest it is only one side doing this is quite laughable.
