The column is right, there are lotta good things that are happening with Tennessee program. We have a football coach who is a solid football coach and is not a snake oil salesman.
Tennessee programs not on a level to win SEC or national championships at this time but we are bringing in bigger players faster players and more talented players so we’ve had in a long time.
Jeremy Pruitt understands that you have to recruit the best players possible and put them in a position where they can utilize their talents to the optimal level. He puts a big emphasis on building up their bodies and their speed.
He has assembled a solid staff of teaching coaches and recruiters. It took him a full year to have confidence in his coaching staff to the point where he could turn over his defensive coordinator responsibilities and not insert himself into the offense of scheme .
I fully expect a tough game this Saturday night. Will match up fine in the trenches but we just don’t have solid quarterback play to take us to the next level. We do have a lot of talent around him it’s just that he just doesn’t execute very well on the game field .
