The development of the group health insurance is where health insurance companies got guaranteed numbers of the insured but had to take everyone. Therefore, they had to cut others who would not be part of that group but still needed health insurance or raise their rates.

I can tell you as a self-employed person I always get a laugh when people that work for Corporate Co. America or whatever huge company cry about the cost of their portion of health insurance premiums. It's miniscule versus anyone who is self-employed.
