trying to arrange for Brandon Rush to walk on at MU and he would simply pay his way since Alden wouldn't allow us to offer him a scholarship. He ended up not being an eligible academically so he had to go to ku though. If that worked and both Klieza and Gardner don't turn pro early because the program was falling apart we could have had Tyler Hansborough, Brandon Rush, Linus Klieza, and Thomas Gardner all on the same team together. I guess Jason Horton would have been the point guard, so having a non-scoring/defensive minded pg might have been ideal with that lineup. Certainly would have been formidable.
