Lacy Clay was somewhat moderate(compared to the new one) who had spent years making deals in Washington and putting together a caucus that he could leverage to get things done, which is difficult because he is from one of the biggest $hithole districts in the country, much less the state.

So now they have a nurse/looter with no political experience, no real education and no contacts in Washington moving in to the job. Just like Tlaib and Omar and AOC no one will take her seriously and she won't get anything done for her district.

It's just strange.
