This happens every day in the black community. We've been tossing these people in jail for decades, and the problem isn't solved. The root of the issue is proper parental or mental heath guidance, to prevent the person from even getting to that mental point, especially when drugs are involved.

I'm not saying we remove the legal component. Anyone who commits a crime should serve their time. But those people still need the help to get better.
