success is more likely than anywhere else, and racial obstacles are less likely (note: I'm talking about the present, not the past).
Look at Ilhan Omar as an example. She came here and quickly ascended into a position of power as a US congressperson (a powerful national legislator). Nowhere else in the world is that kind of opportunity possible for a black person. Yet, she claims this nation is racist and deplorable, unlike the nation she fled from.
By the way, whites can experience racism as well, and increasingly they are. Many find the increasing anti-white rhetoric deeply offensive. The general demonization of whites; the narrative that whites are inherently or "implicitly" evil/racist/oppressive because of their skin color; that their success is due to "privilege" instead of intelligence and hard work; that they should have to atone for the actions of a *minority* of whites hundreds of years ago, rather than commemorating the *majority* of whites who fought and died for the freedom of blacks in the Civil War, or who stood with them in the Civil Rights movements.
The left's identity politics are extremely divisive, and are tearing apart the very fabric of this great nation.
