black players at ut have legit concerns. it's obviously up to them and texas to decide how they want to move.

a number of the building names and statuary there really do represent some pretty awful old south stigmas. one building is tagged for a math professor who wouldn't allow black students in his class. another for a school president who wouldn't admit blacks into ut's law school. yikes.

change is part of our history too. sometimes we have to accept the medicine regardless how bitter the taste if we want to heal our bodies.

and yeah, i'm damn glad the wabash cannonball wasn't used to haul slaves around dixie.
