stand trial for murder. So, while you may think it's justified, that's not how society is trending with respect to law enforcement. Most people will recognize that firing a taser over one's shoulder (if that is indeed how it played out) does not pose a lethal threat to the officers. Game may be over for the officer as well. Maybe other officers will think twice in the future about using lethal force when it's not really necessary.
