reimbursed their losses first probably. That would include losses related to Ed Jones payments as well as monies spent on the Riverfront Stadium project that ended up on the cutting floor.
But that would still leave a very large sum, that I suppose would be divided up between those three local entities.
It's getting to a point where it might be cheaper for the League to offer St. Louis an NFL franchise and significant help in construction costs of a new stadium.
But I doubt the politicians, or even the citizens have an appetite for an NFL team. I think they want blood more.
They either want a huge financial payout through a settlement... or go to trial to gain a bigger payout while also getting discovery to investigate NFL communications.
It's a very interesting story.
Especially since the Rams apparently agreed to accept all financial liability, something one franchise can't possibly hold on their own at this point.
