I recall you relating that story to me. That must have been his junior year, which I didn't see much of. I was at SEMO for the 82-83 and 83-84 seasons, so I saw all of his senior season and both seasons McClinton played there.

BTW, I ran into Jewell Crawford at the doctor's office a few years ago.....I kept trying to place him, but couldn't. I heard the receptionist call out, "Jewell" and it hit me.

After he sat down I asked her, "Is that Jewell Crawford?" She simultaneously told me she wasn't allowed to say, and shook her head yes with a sly grin. I struck up a conversation with him for about 10-15 minutes....I think we both enjoyed reminiscing....
