be not only the exposure to the virus but exposure to lawsuits.
Say an office of 50 employees opens up. In so doing, it is essentially deciding that its workplace is safe from CV and I don't believe there would be a way to get an enforceable waiver from any employee who starts back up, but then gets sick due to CV.
As usual, the actual threat of lawsuits and subsequent damages AND the perception of the threat of lawsuits and subsequent damages will play a hand in most employers decision making.
We've already seen the meat industry get crushed by the outbreak at a meat processing plant in South Dakota. The legal exposure there is yet to be determined but there's 300+ employees who contracted CV.
