month in NY and this month there are zero shouldn’t that raise a red flag?

Does everyone who dies and tests positive for Covid count as a Covid death? Do they do that with the flu and other illnesses. I don’t know if the information was correct but I heard that they are being instructed to count any respiratory death as Covid, wouldn’t that inflate the numbers. Just because Covid is here does not mean that all the other killers are on the beach in Maui taking a break.
