flood control in the south Leawood part of JOCO. Would have been a huge impoundment for flood control for the Blue River watershed (ie, Flush Creek).

The folks in Leawood fought it because they thought it would bring black people to JOCO to carp fish.

Looking at the recreation dollars Leawood pìssed away is pretty funny.
