define it as the unlawful killing of a human being.

Using that definition Hitler did not murder those in concentration camps.

Slave owners in many situations could kill their slaves at will if they wanted to. Using that definition they did not murder their slaves. They were disposing of their property as they willed. It was their legal right to do so.

But the bottom line is the scientific fact that abortion is the intentional killing of an innocent human being.
