You argue that Bernie fared well in the system - the only system available. One can rail against systems while still being part of them. He also has not changed his tune in all that time, opts to seek change from within the system. I am not a big Bernie fan either. He is too strident for my tastes.

But again, he has been part of THE SYSTEM he rails against b/c - gee Beav, it is the only system we have.

There was talk last election that Bernie would have taken a lot of the angry vote that Trump won had he been the nominee. That still could happen. But if the Dems don't take the Senate - we will continue our decline.
