Pretty sure this is the worst we've seen.

Certainly the worst in the past 20 years or so.

In some cases (the Porters), I'd probably blame overtraining/overspecialization starting at a young age, which is a relatively new phenomenon. But I don't believe that's the issue that led to Tilmon and Smith getting hurt. Both played other sports growing up. We've really just been hit with some bad luck.
