EE and it sounds like he should have just dummied up about the NCAA allegations rather than cooperating.
That being said, he was national AD of the year right before we hired him. He built a very respectable mid-major program at SDSU (both football and basketball programs were very good under his department).
Mizzou has a long history of mediocre athletic programs. Mike Alden all but destroyed basketball. Mack Rhoades pretty much destroyed everything else in his short tenure (seriously, Rhoades might be one of the worst hires in Mizzou athletics history).
You can’t expect Sterk to undo 30+ years of mediocrity and the absolute mess of his immediate predecessors in just 3 years.
