our bedroom. Not a Smart TV but I have a Samsung Smart Bluray player connected to it. It's been at least a month since it's been on.

She fires it up last night....no internet connection. Network is fine, just no connection to the outside world. Check firmware and it's up to date.

Chat on-line with Samsung and jump thru the hoops to do a reset on the unit (no luck), reset the router and cable modem (nada). While doing that, I check the Bluray player in the basement rec room because it is the same model....and discover the exact same issue.

Tech support says they will probably need to go in for repair....yeah, they were like under $100 each when I bought them. I can buy a Roku stick for $50.

I love planned obsolescence.
