If we fired our coaches based on the opinions of the terrible fans in the fan-base, we would be like the dumpster fires that are:
Nebraska, Illinois, Tennessee, and kU.
This is Missouri. It is not Bama.
Nebraska isn't Nebraska anymore. Tennessee isn't even Tennessee anymore. They tore their programs down because they fired a coach every 3-4 years.
We are one bad coaching hire from becoming a dumpster fire. We are not one good head coaching hire from becoming a national powerhouse.
Even if you do fire him and hire a rising star or big name, the same fans will be wanting to fire the new coach in 3-4 years, regardless who it is.
