A staff would not do something like this without the players being on board. The players have some responsibility here. I cannot believe that on a team of probably 70 players none stepped forward and not a single parent complained.
If you are asking about the staff, every one of them s 100% responsible. Even if your job is the freshmen DBs coach if you knew this was happening you had a responsibility to step forward and say something.
The school absolutely did the right thing here. Every player and every coach was involved. This is not a case where a few kids did something wrong and the entire team gets hit for it. The entire team knew, the entire team should share in the punishment.
