Eliminate the 4, and play w/ 3 wings,a pt & center.

Sometimes a center is played by someone that would have been a power forward. As John Wooden said before he passed, " there's a lot more coaching and a lot less teaching going on"

So called positionless basketball only passes around the perimeter because the middle is too congested and coaches don't teach how to make entry passes anymore, so in theory this reduces turnovers.
Also because coaches don't teach offense anymore the game becomes an exhibition in isolation or one on one. Coaches understand because defense isn't taught anymore you can beat your man one on one to the basket. Now if someone helps then you dish to the help defender's man.

While coaches make more money they teach less and the art of the game disappears. No longer will you see cutters running through post, or centers passing to cutters, or going backdoor. Instead it comes down to the Cal at Ky approach. Hope others adopt your approach because he knows he will always get better players.
