and a .500 SEC record.

Florida played a tougher non-con but lost to every good team they played, and had 3 fewer wins overall than MSU.

There is name bias with the NCAAT selection committee. Everyone knows it. Florida would have gotten in with MSU's resume in 2018, probably with a 10 seed or better.
