schools would start recruiting players who are committed to amateur collegiate athletics, and the show would go on.

The fans would still root like crazy for their schools, because that's what this is all about. That's what it's been about for over 100 years. That's why college sports is so lucrative. It has nothing to do with the 1-4 year players who come and go.

Please explain why this message is being reported.
