and I respect that. Probably an alum as well.

I'm sure we have the same goals for the University, we just approach them in different ways. We clearly have major philosophical differences on the roles & responsibilities of fans. I think it's incumbent upon fans to provide positive and — if necessary — negative reinforcement, while you think fans should be supportive no matter how poor the decisions and results are (e.g. hiring a D-2 coach in basketball, or a high school coach in football).

I get fans like you, but you don't seem to get fans like me.

You should try to be more tolerant and open-minded.
