He inherited a dumpster fire and is quickly coaching up the team.

Boston College looked good until tonight... 2-0 with a win over Virginia Tech. They were good last year as well.

KU did what we should have done by conducting a national search and hiring the most qualified person for the job. Either a head coach with a long track record of success or a hot-shot assistant with elite recruiting skills. Instead, we hired a high school coach (and that followed the hiring of a D-2 coach in basketball).

All of our problems over the past 5 years have been self-inflicted by incompetent administrators, on the academic and athletic side.
