That particular Latin phrase is the motto of the United States.

There are thousands of words and phrases from other languages that are now part of common English usage. The fact that we adopted that phrase as our motto suggests that it is common knowledge to intelligent English speakers. That would leave you out but most people are vastly more intelligent than you.

Please explain why this message is being reported.
