You hire engineers and they do the best they can but sometimes you simply don’t know what you have until “get the drywall off”. You drill until you hit bedrock. The pillars have to go where they have to go. Another example is the huge retaining wall: engineers didn’t foresee they would need that big of an engineered wall until they got into the hillside and uncovered the old landfill.

You can talk to any construction industry pro in town about this last winter. It was incredibly wet. I already told you about Shelter.
