What exactly do you think I have done to others?

What heinous things could I have possibly done?
Give mouth to mouth to an unconscious woman at a vehicle accident?
Took control of the scene of that accident and kept people from pushing that car from its side back onto its wheels with a trapped and paralyzed woman inside?
I was probably 19, 20 tops, and not even commissioned when that happend.

Got thanked by the parents of a kid I'd arrested for a residential daytime burglary because they knew his life was careening out of control? Not my first contact with the family as their younger son had been shot with a bb gun right in the mouth and snapped off one of his front teeth. They were out of town but I dealt with this situation and it was a prime example of a single mother not controlling/monitoring her kid with an air rifle in suburbia and keeping him from doing something stupid. Dad bought the air rifle but both parents were absent when it came to firearms safety.
Or how about the college kid at Mizzou I ran into before a bball game at Hearnes who thanked me for arresting him for DWI the week prior? Why did he thank me? Because CPD was working a fatality accident on 740 involving a middle eastern student in his Trans Am near the golf course. The windsheild was found several hundred feet from the POI and there was a debris field all over the area.
I had shut down 740 at Providence when the student attempted to drive past me and stopped only when I beat my flashlight on his hood and right in front of his face. He still had a Harpo's cup of vodka and 7UP on the console.
So why did he THANK ME when he ran into me outside Hearnes? Because he saw the news story of the fatality accident and realized if I hadn't stopped him he would have killed first responders working that scene.
So you tell me exactly what I've done to people that has been wrong?
