what's your point?

in 2017 30 security guards and roughly 46 police officers were homicide victims

there are far more security guards but at the same time, they call the police when things escalate and a large percentage of them are simply guarding a place and have little to no interaction with the public so it's comparing apples and oranges in most cases.
