Taylor would be on the short list of any other P5 school or successful mid major program in the country, age 26, 3 whole years of assistant coaching experience? Really?
Is VB that easy to coach? This would be laughed at if it were football or basketball or probably many more college sports. It’s already being laughed at by VB fans elsewhere.
It’s very clear what happened here. The Kreklows orchestrated the promotion of an inexperienced family member to take their job, by the timing. Timing they chose. They seem very happy, ecstatic to see Taylor get the head coaching job handed to him. He is, after all, family. Of course they and Sterk are going to say he is uniquely, supremely qualified to lead a top D1 program. No one outside of a few Mizzou people believe that to be true. No one.
