What you said makes no sense to me.

Trying to control who succeeds them? Yeah, for one interim year I guess. It’s not their business to “decide who succeeds them”. That’s the responsibility of the AD. Sure, doing it at this late date assures their family member gets the job. This year. You really think this does Taylor any favors? 26, never been a head coach anywhere, much less at a P5 school. Barely out of college himself. Seen widely, due to the suspicious timing, as someone forced upon the university in an obvious nepotism move?

Regardless of how this year goes, Mizzou needs to do a nationwide search for the best coach available. If you asked this question yesterday, Taylor wouldn’t make a list of the top 50 candidates.

Mizzou, and the Kreklows, need to come clean about why this happened, and why now. Mizzou fans who support this program deserve at least that.
