It will be less and less a republic every day.

we have the government we deserve - one that has vastly - and i mean VASTLY too much power in our lives and over the lives of human beings all over the planet.

i won't disagree the concept is a fine one, but people have shown over history they crave power and having it through gubmit is what you're seeing manifested here, as throughout history.
