As silly as this place can become, and as much as I may disagree with several here, I do appreciate those who care enough to engage and honestly participate in the political fray. It’s embarrassingly flawed in many ways, but as far as systems of government there has not been a better or more effective example of self rule. The history of our nation points to this.

“A republic, if you can keep it” indeed.
