Given that "climate change" is argued to be the most significant threat to mankind's continued existence on this planet, why not have an ongoing televised debate/teach in on TV. A two or three hour program every week. The folks believing in climate change can make their case, explain and justify their research and address their critics. The the non-believers can take their best shots at climate change theory, its application, data, etc.
The program can be rebroadcast repeatedly during the following week.
Over perhaps a year or two or ten, a consensus can be reached.
Again, if mankind's future depends on it (or its the biggest boondoggle in mankind's history), there's ample justification and reason for a structured ongoing reasoned and national debate that gets beyond the
its the scientific consensus argument.
After all once upon a time the world's scientic consensus was the world was flat.
