The ripple effect is a clear bonus to local support industries during major project implementation. This is typically extimated at about 15% of costs.
The ripple effect, a well-documented phenomena of major infrastructure projects includes, food, supplies, tools, fuel, lodging, and ancillary support services. It has nothing to do with Trickle Down Economics which has never been documented to exist that if the govt showers the elites with tax breaks that the rest of the population would relish in excess finances trickling down. That was a ruse brought on first, I think, by Reagan's people.
It has never happened but it is used to justify such tax breaks. Temporary tax cuts tied to actual job creation are a different story.
