The gap between 11 wins and 8 wins is bigger than the gap between 5 and 8.

You can be a pretty good team and have the occasional 10 win season with players like Mizzou usually recruits. And that's who Mizzou is.

But to be a playoff contender, you have to recruit better.

It's pretty simple.
